The support list is only what has been succesfully tested, M.2 (NVME) is a standard.
It is important that the OS is installed in UEFI Mode (GPT for Windows, and depending on the OS You install, it can be You require drivers from WD But it should work fine. |

Has anyone here attempted to use this NVMe unit on this older motherboard?
If so, was it detected? The supported storage doesn't list this SSD. The latest working NVMe from WD is SN750 (the previous series). But since an SSD that is not listed may still work, I wanted to know if that is also the case for the SN850X |
