When I bought the X670E Steel Ledgend in the middle of March this year, I could use the Flare EXPO X set (F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5) from G.Skill without hesitation. At that time, I had manually updated the BIOS to version 1.18. So far so good, the memory was recognized and worked flawlessly.
However, with the new BIOS versions 1.21 and 1.24 AS02, the EXPO profile is no longer loaded but "gear 2" which limits the memory to 3600MT/s. You can also select JDEC 4800, but this does not correspond to the specification that you originally purchased. I think the reason for the downgrade is that the memory requires a voltage of 1.35V. Question to the community / the manufacturer - Will there still be an update here that allows memory to operate again with more than 1.30 V voltage according to EXPO? My System: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (non X) ASRock X670X Steel Ledgend 64GB DDR5 Flare EXPO X (4x16GB) 3 M2 + 2 SATA SSDs MSI RTX 3070 |
