I have a new build that will freeze on bios, I have a had few errors code before swapping the ram around I get a code I can't find in the manual, 9C. everything turns on, it will delay for about 5 seconds then the ASRock splash page shows and it freezes at that page.
I am using 2400MH PNY Anarchy 2X8 GB RAM DDR4 CPU: intel i7-6700 socket 1151 CPU cooling: Corsair H100i v2 GPU: MSI GTX 1060 gaming X 6GB I have tried the different configurations, as well as one stick each that produces the same result, removed the GPU as well, same result. any ideas?

9C would be memory related.
For starters contact PNY and inquire if your memory is compatible. If it is, when you come back, please list your PSU also, by make, specific Model Number, and it's age too please. Edited by wardog - 17 Jan 2017 at 9:16am |
