Gratz! A quick question: is your g. flares kit the same as mine (my sig) ? and did you have to touch anything under advance tab at all ?

yes and no ;D

xmp to 3200 a little more dram voltage (up to 1.4 is considered safe) and procODT 56-60 ohm and SoC V1.15
i also disabled Advanced Boot Training

Thanks. I tried and......also did not work for me. Maybe some where on my board it's "broken".

This board seems to really hate hard Hynix SR memory :-((

from your signature, i see you are using x370 fatal1ty professional gaming? not k4 right?

so the more expensive fatal1ty professional also cannot get the ram stable at 3200MHz? Confused

Nope. As sh*tty ever (pardon my language). At this point I understand why Assrock is cheaper and less known comparing to Asus/GByte etc..
I'm an Asus guy for years but earlier this year I already built an Asus machine for someone: flawless not even a hiccup as ALWAYS with 3200 ram oc'ed the first time it loads. I figured I'd try something different with my machine and I purchased this board and boy am I fkng regret or what.......

So I'm going to come on here hoping for a bit of advice.  I'm having a hell of a time with this board, and my frustration is almost to the point of just buying a new MSI or Gigabyte board.   I have 16GB (2x8GB) kit of G Skill Aegis DDR4-3000.

I'm permanently stuck on 1.0.0.4 versions of the BIOS.  With that version, I cannot get 2666 or higher stable, but it's stable at 2400.  If I upgrade to 1.0.0.6 I have been completely unable to get anything above 2133 stable.  Even 2400 just results in a boot loop until it resets.  I've tried kicking up the RAM and SoC voltage as much as I dare, increasing the main timings, ProcODT at 80ohm, GDM off, 2T CR... Nothing.  Anything above 2133 fails to POST.  Despite the issues with VME for XP Virtual Machines, I have to stay with the older BIOS version because it's even worse than the newer version for stability.  Does anyone have any issues or suggestions here? I'm pulling my hair out about the whole thing. It's 100% rock stable at 2400 on the older BIOS, which is frustrating.

This RAM is Hynix for the DRAM as well.

Boot up memtest86 from a usb stick and check your ram's stability before you give up. I had similar issues with an msi b350 board. After a cmos reset and a fresh windows 10 install, I was able to start from square one and baby step the process.

Is this a suggestion for KiriyaAoi or in general ?

You should ALWAYS clear the BIOS prior to upflashing a major rewrite. ie 2.xx to 3.xx

Always.

Heck, I clear the BIOS prior to any flashing. Every once in a while a setting will be altered/changed/removed, and that can and will cause issues.
