I do not believe that these a Smasung B chip memory modules. I can not even find if they are single rank. |

with 4 sticks dont expect any overclock at all
those rams which sells in pairs are tested to be working in pairs not in quads, they may work, but its not guaranteed to be working at same speeds if u need high speed 4 rams, then u should buy some quad kit (lets say: https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c14q-32gtzrx) |

I also have this memory that I am thinking of using in my ASRock X370 Taichi. I have G Skill 2X2x8 GB (4 sticks of 8GB 2X2 DDR packs) and I have the G Skill Flare X 2X2x8 GB (4 sticks of 8GB 2X2 DDR packs) as well. The Ripjaw V is $30 less expensive than the Flare X right now and both a Smasung B Die single/single. Anyways I was figuring that if the 3466 ran stable at 3200 then I should use the Ripjaw V instead of the Flare X because I feel that I could tighten the timings on the 3466 from 16 18 18 38 to that of the Flare X of 14 14 14 34. My thinking is that these are the same memory modules in both sets of memory, the 3466 and the 3200. If that is the case, then I can save over $60 on the memory by using the Ripjaw V sticks. I should also mean that I should get better OC results using the 3466 than the 3200. Any opinions on this? |

On my experience with Asrock motherboards on Ryzen, you can try a memory like Corsair brand, the LPX line that is available on Newegg or Amazon, that i would recommend high speed under Ryzen. G-skill also had the GFX line that is supposed to be compatible with it. After you buy and try the memory for stability for a couple hours, then you can try to update the bios while on bios that i think is the safest way. here is an example: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820236173&cm_re=corsair_memory-_-20-236-173-_-Product
Hope that helps you some. |

Can anyone tell me if the memory on the AMD QVL list will work with a Fatal1ty Gaming X with BIOS 1.0. I cannot update the BIOS as I have yet to find RAM that is actually compatible.

I understand that. When I bought the board and ram the highest I saw supported on the list at 3200mhz was 2x8gb. If 32gb (2x16 or 4x8 at that speed) would have been listed I would have purchased that instead.

You face additional hurdles adding a second kit. Mixing(adding) two Kits sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. |
