So with new BIOS 3.00 Agesa 1006a, unfortunately I can still only run my RAM at 2133.

I have tried it at 2400 16-18-18-32 at 1.35v both using and not using XMP and neither works.?

I noticed on my BIOS that it is running my memory in Single Channel mode. Could this have anything to do with it?

Anyone have any suggestions for me to get the RAM at higher than 2133?

EDIT; Removed that headache inducing link to your phones pic Wink

Phew. That pic'll give someone a headache for sure.

FYI, put a smallish USB stick in the rear USB slots, then in the BIOS hit F12 to capture what is displayed on screen

Have you re-seated the sticks in the memory slots?

Are they both from a single Kit, or just two individual sticks purchased separately?

Have you pulled the processor and checked for bent/missing pins?

The RAM is from a single kit.

I have checked the processor pins about a month ago.

I have tried reseating the RAM a about a month ago but to be honest I only noticed the Single Channel thing today.

So the Single Channel Memory Mode is definitely not "working as intended"? I only noticed it today but has possibly been like that the whole time from BIOS 2.4 til now.

Thanks for the tip about screenshotting the BIOS. Sorry for picture quality!

Begin by running MemTest or Windows Memory Diagnostics on both.

If either test above fails, using only one stick installed test each individually.

Post up a couple captures of CPU-z's Memory and SPD tabs for each stick too if you would. 4 caps total.

I just reseated the RAM, cleared CMOS, and still same: http://imgur.com/a/M0Sdh

Thanks for your advice. Here's my CPU-z: http://imgur.com/a/GA0kz

Looks like CPU-z is seeing them as dual channel. I'm not very clued up on this can you tell me which is accurate/what's going on?

Have to go to work now but will run memtest when I get home this evening and update you.

Please do. Having a bad or goofy acting stick will exhibit this too.

kebl3739, please look at how much memory W10 thinks you have.  Open the Task Manager => Performance => Memory.  I'm guessing it is saying that 8GB is offline.  This has been seen here before and seems to mean some error was detected in BIOS so only one stick is passed to Windows.  You may have a bad slot or stick.  For testing use one stick in A1, then A2...etc, if all OK try the other stick in all four slots.  Please let us know what you learn.  Good luck and enjoy, John.

This is exactly what's happening to me (posted under "fatality + flareX memory thread"). Switching slots, clearing cmos will change nothing. CPU-Z also shows dual but not in bios. I have not run memfest tho but probably should. I spoke with asrock tech yesterday and in the process of returning the board. I'm also planning to return the cpu as well.

p.s.
Now the question I have is when clearing cmos, should I also remove the cpu as well in order to obtain 100% "clearing" ? I have not done this part.

This is what my Memtest screen looks like. On the left it says Memory: 8125M.

Does this mean it's only picking up one of my 2x8gb sticks?
