ASRock AB350M Pro4 AMD A8-9600 APU w/ Radeon R7 Graphics G.Skill FlareX 16gb DDR4 2133 (in slots A2/B2) Seagate 500gb Hdd Antec neopower 650 blue powersupply my monitor i connected by the DVI cable when I try to boot, the machine is already past the post screen by the time the screen recognizes that it has a signal and at that point the screen has green lines all over it, the picture is jumping around and blurry. when I try to connect the monitor through the VGA cable I dont have any signal. when I try hitting DEL as the computer is booting up as to get into the BOOT setup the monitor never recognizes that it is receiving a signal. Any suggestions? I am at my wits end. the mobo is brand new the ram is brand new the APU is brand new the Harddrive and the powersupply are the only old components from my old computer. ~Wraithflames

Sounds like a bad DVI cable to me. DVI can be analog, digital or combined. Check the cable and the monitor jacks. Some cables are really poor made, especially if their are also long.
Also, check if the monitor has input source auto-detect. Some monitors are 'dumb' and won't detect another input unless you manually choose this input. I'm not familiar with the AB350's UEFI, but maybe there is an option to enable/disable VGA and/or other monitor outputs. P.S. that HDD looks like a big bottleneck for your system. Maybe upgrade it later? P.P.S. did you try HDMI? |

The problem was that the CPU was not seated correctly, after I had tried everything including installing a graphics card on. (Didn't do anything).
My last resort was to re-seat the CPU, as I disconeccted the heat sink from the motherboard, the CPU came off with the heat-sink. after removing the CPU from the heat sink and cleaning both services, I re seated the CPU onto the motherboard and attached the heat sink back on the computer posted perfectly.
