Is there a Bios update to boot from an Intel 750 SDD?

I have the Intel driver and it loads but says it can't create the system partition.

I updated the bios with Z77EXT4(P2.90M) which is suppose to work for the SM951 cards.

But still no luck.

Any suggests or help?

thanks,
Rob

Try this to allow the OS installation on your Intel 750:

Find the CSM option in Advanced -> ACPI Configuration screen (if I  recall the location correctly.) Otherwise it may be in the Boot screen.

CSM should be Enabled (default) unless you changed it, which I doubt. Find the Launch Storage OpROM Policy and set it to UEFI Only. You will need to maintain this setting as long as you use the 750 as the OS drive. A CMOS/BIOS clear or UEFI/BIOS update will reset it to Legacy Only.

Now try the OS installation. I suggest letting the Windows installer format the 750. Choose the Custom installation option and delete any partitions on the 750. Then click the New option which will format the drive. After the format, continue with the OS installation.

Also, do not remove the USB flash drive (I assume) with the Intel NVMe driver on it until the OS installation reboots into the Windows desktop.

BTW, what version of Windows are you using?

If you still have problems let us know, or if this works for you please.
