Please, can I run 4x 16GB ECC DDR3 RAM memory (with Intel Xeon E3-1230V2) on Z68 Extereme 7 Gen 3? Would it work, probably without ECC support, just like a normal RAM? Thank for Your responds and tips Bye Tom F.

First, your CPU and board have a maximum memory capacity of 32GB. Your 4 x 16GB = 64GB. The specifications of your board are here:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z68%20Extreme7%20Gen3/?cat=Specifications Next, there are no 16GB size memory listed in your board's Memory Support List, so even using just two of them probably would not work. Finally, if we knew the full name and model number of that memory, we might be able to decide if they could work, but it does not seem like they will work, sorry to say. |

I could be for example this RAM - Kingston 16GB DDR3 1333 ECC Reg CL9 DIMM QR x8 w/TS KVR13LR9Q8/16. You are speaking about, that 64GB ammount couldn´t run on Z68, but are you sure, have You really tested it? Or it´s limited by CPU? :) Thanks for your reply Best Regards Tom F.
