Ok, ive figured out whats wrong with the 4.73A Beta Bios on the AB350 Pro4:
The "Core Performance Boost" disabling does not work - when disabled on next restart its back on auto - means its always enabled. That again means that +0.050V vcore need to be applied additionally to make the "Core Performance Boost" stable, hence it was the reason the bios always needed to be cmos resetted as soon ive set my usual oc clocks. So ASRock, plz let me disable that "Core Performance Boost" in the next bios release - its utter nonsense that 1.45V+ need to applied just to get that 200 Mhz boost feature stable when running around 3.8 Ghz cpu clock. I rather prefer having 3.9 Ghz on all cores and that at 1.40V; exactly like i did in 4.70 bios. ^^

On asrock ab350 pro4 (not the "m" version) there's 4.73A beta bios only. Can't disable virtualization (disabled in bios but enabled in windows) and asrock overlocking mode not working (no post at every frequency/volts). P-state overclocking works but obviously it's bugged like in older bios (no frequency scaling in windows).
On 4.70 stable bios I have no problems except the frequency scaling bug. Asrock AB350 Pro4 Ryzen 5 2400g @3725mhz 1.25v Stock cooler G.skill ddr4 2x4GB 3200@2934 (memtest errors at 3200) Amd RX580 8GB Edited by Blackey - 07 May 2018 at 1:21am |

@Blacky, exactly the same problems as here, also on the AB350 Pro4 (Non-M) Bios 4.73A version.
As soon you touch OC bios needs cmos reset. This bios is not only beta, its basically not useable except you leave everything on default. ASRock please give us poor AB350 Pro4 users a new beta bios where at least basic OC works and where core performance boost is to disable. :/

Core Performance Boost is reset on mem tests failure, for example freq to high amd mobo unable to start. |

so today ive tryied to put that agesa 1.0.0.2 on my pc bios L4.63 if i picked correct one
so far i dont see anything broken (usb/wifi/etc) with previous bioses i couldnt disable CSM, coz it was not reading GOP from my GTX 1060 and it just 5 times beeped with D6 error code than it rebooted with csm enabled with this BIOS i saw there was added 4G option (which also disables CSM) so i did try it and pretty much got same result, 5 beeps with D6...BUT it didnt restart, it went right into windows, where video got up, after reboot (i think it was few more reboots from windows) i saw asrock logo yey...dunno why but GOP works now...fastboot ftw |
