Hi there,
Specs, Win 1709.
Picked up a WMI error:
Quote Evt 5858
Id = {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}; ClientMachine = NyMACHINE; User = NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM; ClientProcessId = 10892; Component = Unknown; Operation = Start IWbemServices::ExecQuery - ROOT\CIMV2 : SELECT ID FROM Win32_ServerFeature; ResultCode = 0x80041010; PossibleCause = Unknown

According to its property pages there's nothing wrong with WMI, but as the above ClientProcess had ceased execution, there's no way of telling what it was or where it came from.
Looking at this blog, it's possible the same approach maybe possible on a different rig. Currently using the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller which causes absolutely no issues with perceived functionality. Would using this driver be any better or worse than the ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 Realtek LAN Driver 7048 for Windows 7?
It's a long shot as to whether such an upgrade would clear the error- do you think it is worth trying?
Thanks for reading

Does anyone get the above WMI error at all in any of their setups?
If so, does it have any relevance to the functioning of the driver or hardware?
Thanks.
