New Beta is out --- 3.23B  Add options "Performance Enhancer" and "Performance Bias" in BIOS setup

Dated after 3.30... wonder if :
1 - includes the RAID fix
2 - has also borked memory training.

I can unfortunately confirm what crion says -- my memory timings and stability is gone with 3.30
It is like they borked something in the memory (training) section.

Even with the safe settings which were normally rock-solid I had BSODs and haven't been able to pass the memory stability tests....
Rolled back to 3.20 and it runs...somehow... I am now thinking about  returning to 3.10 -- was my new favourite...

3.30 is not letting me work well with memory timings well. It reads the XMP but memory training seems off. I load my 12/12/12 correct timings and it just boots with 2933/20/19/19/39

3.20 I had working rock steady with a 2933/12/12/12/28 setup.

So raid issues aside I think ASRock tampered with something more here in 3.30 bios...

So far so good. I might need to change some parameters that I have used since 1.91 to increase the mem stability a little bit, but besides that - all good.

Hi, anybody have experience with Raid issues with uefi bios 3.20?

When I tried it, I found my onboard SS 850 Evo m.2 Sata ssd array was offline, and I have not yet had time to try to delete and re-create it in RaidXpert2.

I did notice several new additions to the bios and would like to use it, but don't know if I will be able to overcome the raid issue. Everything else seemed O.K. though, but I do have Gen1 TR 1950x.

The new Uefi 3.xx gives you more configuration control if you are using ECC RAM (Enable ECC & Symbol Size) and a few other things too, and a post/quote from a member is not an official statement, sorry.

@Asrock: If Uefi 2.0 is for 1st gen. and Uefi > 3.x is only for the 2nd gen. so please unlock the 3.20 features in the Uefi 2.00. Also a good idea will be an workstation like implementation of a full WHEA Support in the Uefi. What about an v4.00 for workstation use (no overclocking stuff)?

That might be fine if 2.0 worked better significantly than other versions of the BIOS, didn't have the annoying FC 6 beeps during ram OC I didn't get from earlier versions or the new 3.0-3.20 variants, was updated more than since last November, has a variant with the newer AGESA for security with Spectre, etc. Sure, I did like the better ram speeds. That was great. But not hearing the 6 beeps at every boot for 3600 settings that worked with that BIOS and the ones before them is a huge boon for me.

I do understand that the newer ones are works in progress, meant for the newer chips, etc. But, because of the above reasons, I think I will tinker a bit more.

I do not know about others but 3.20 so far is the best bios version I have had. 3466 is ROCK solid, before only 3200 was.
