So far so good. I might need to change some parameters that I have used since 1.91 to increase the mem stability a little bit, but besides that - all good.

3.30 is not letting me work well with memory timings well. It reads the XMP but memory training seems off. I load my 12/12/12 correct timings and it just boots with 2933/20/19/19/39 3.20 I had working rock steady with a 2933/12/12/12/28 setup. So raid issues aside I think ASRock tampered with something more here in 3.30 bios... Edited by crion - 28 Aug 2018 at 10:53am |

I can unfortunately confirm what crion says -- my memory timings and stability is gone with 3.30
It is like they borked something in the memory (training) section. Even with the safe settings which were normally rock-solid I had BSODs and haven't been able to pass the memory stability tests.... Rolled back to 3.20 and it runs...somehow... I am now thinking about returning to 3.10 -- was my new favourite...

New Beta is out --- 3.23B Add options "Performance Enhancer" and "Performance Bias" in BIOS setup
Dated after 3.30... wonder if : 1 - includes the RAID fix 2 - has also borked memory training.

I am running the L3.23b uefo bios, and it seems to be just fine, In fact I am able to run my 128GB G.skill 3200mhz C14 rgb RAM at 2933mhz xmp profile, whereas on earlier bios I could not get above 2800.There does seem to be a problem with Win10 power options to restart, shutdown, and sleep however as they are currently not working on my Asrock Ultra Quad Raid0 array. I have a support request in to Asrock regarding this.

I've tried v3.3. Experienced a lot of lockups, crashes and non-post situations. Running the TR 1950X at stock speeds and my 64GB GSkill Trident Z 14-14-14-14-34 Samsing "B" die memory at basic XMP settings with a minor tweak to voltage. (memory is totally unusable regardless of EFI version unless I do that). I do want to add that I use NVMe drives for boot and for a couple of other volumes.
Looking at the release info it seems they did something to NVMe drive functions. I have a feeling they fked something up with that. I had to back out to v3.2 in order to get proper stability back. Not sure what they did, but v3.3 is a 100% no-go for me.
