Hi all, I have been driving myself crazy trying to get my brand new build up and running and was hoping you could help. Here?™s my part list:?¨â€¨https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Y6qgn6 I have installed a M2 XPG Gammix Blade 2TB onto my ASrock Steel Legend 760M Wifi motherboard, there are no other drives. When I go into the BIOS settings I can see it listed in the storage configuration section of EZMode but it is not listed on the right hand side in the Boot Priority list. (I?™ve attached some images) https://imgur.com/a/rDZ3WjY I have tried it on M2_1 slot and M2_3 slot, same result with both I have updated my BIOS to version 6.07 (from the V2.08 that it came out of the box with) I have tried correcting my BIOS RAM settings to the correct XMP profile (it was defaulting to 4000mhz in AUTO, profile 1 recognised the correct speed. When I load up the windows installer I get ?˜A media driver your computer needs is missing. Etc??and it cannot see the M2 drive, just the boot drive of my installer. When I go to the command prompt and enter diskpart I can see it as disk 0 One major potential issue is, looking at this supported storage page:?? https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/B760M%20Steel%20Legend%20WiFi/index.us.asp#Storage I do not see a 2TB version of the S70 supported, it only mentions 1TB. Could it be as simple as that? My drive has too much space for it to recognise it? I?™m waiting for the 1TB to be delivered so I can test but I want to believe that this is fixable as I?™d like my 2TB drive please. |
