Hi! Just got my hand on the forums, so I want to ask a question abt my issue with my motherboard.
The issue is: when I reboot my PC, it doesn't show me the splash screen, nor the spinning circle with the Asrock logo. Only when reboot or Restart to UEFI. Restart to UEFI just gives me a blinking underscore or nothing at all, with the system still running. I have the latest beta L2.33 UEFI update, but this problem appeared much earlier, just about when I got this motherboard. An interesting exception is, when I have Win11 in dualboot. Then the splash screen appears (maybe because WinBootMan requires it to show up the list of OSes). Thanks in advance! |

Ok, after painful 3.5 years of this purgatory, I figured it all out.
The damn SAMSUNG MONITOR.... Turns out, the "Auto Detect" feature wasn't recognizing the output of the GPU when restarting, and it was just shutting down. The PC WAS in UEFI, but the monitor just didn't want to aknowledge that. I use HDMI (i am VERY consumer, so no DP or DVI for me). |
