Hello !

like i did 1000 Times where i wanted to install Windows 2022 Server i cannot do it with this Motherboard. USB is properly installed with Image. After pressing on F11 Boot Menu i got stuck in UEFI Screen NTFS 2.5 - https://un.akeo.ie

Last Post is: Starting Microsoft Windows bootmgr

i also tried this with a fresh Image of Windows 11. There i get only Blackscreen after hitting USB Device from F11 Options...

Did already disabled Secure Boot as additional Option.

Hope someone can help.

Thank you in advance

I have EXACTLY the same issue.
Battled for 48hrs non stop trying everything.
I am an experienced builder and can't figure it out.
Did you solve the issue?

ASRock support sent alternative BIOS 20.06 versions and I tried those with no luck.
They also asked if the button at the back of the motherboard was stuck in or partially stuck which it wasn't - it was perfect.
So I have literally given up.
Put in another B650 board but from MSI and everything is perfect.
Has to be the board!

Motherboard serial : HBS0XE000340
I am putting this serial into the post because if this board goes back into stock after it gets returned and gets resold - hopefully the new owner will find this.

For anyone else running into the issue this was my setup and process to worth through.
B650D4U-2L2T/BCM + Ryzen 7 7700 + Corsair 2x16GB (CT16G52C42U5.M8G1) + Samsung 990 Pro 1TB NVMe with heatsink.
Board slow to post but once in BIOS does allow BIOS setup but will not boot into any installer.
Fails Windows Server 2022 install almost immediately and no display at all with Windows 11 installer from USB.
All fully working UEFI compatible sticks.
With Server 2022 it freezes at first UEFI loading screen with "Starting Microsoft Windows bootmgr"
With Windows 11 Pro it won't even bring up any screen. Just completely hangs on black screen before anything when booting off USB.
Tried:
1: BIOS Update to 20.07
2: Total BIOS reset with battery out and BIOS reset pins back to factory. At least 10 times.
3: Tried different RAM slots. Tried 1 stick of RAM. Alternate RAM.
4: Tried removing NVMe. Nothing else connected.
5: Re-seated CPU.
6: Swop out with another identical matching CPU and RAM. Don't have alternatives at the moment.
7: Tried different USB sticks. Tried just bootable diagnostics USB sticks. Nothing but all work on other systems.
8: Tried down clocking RAM to 4800
9: Tried turning off CPU features.
10: Tried turning off BMC.
11: Tried a multitude of advanced config settings and full resets back to defaults.
12: Tried legacy mode USB but that actually causes it to not even go past BIOS.
13: Corsair PSU with both CPU power 12v 1 and 2 sockets both powered.
14: Most common hang BIOS debug error is 08 on mainboard.
15: Researched online and have seen a lot of people having issues with this board.
