Hello,

Having an issue where I was gaming today and suddenly my pc black screens and won't boot or post error codes. Currently when I do power on the power and reset buttons on the mobo flash white lights.

My pc specs are
9800x3d
Asrock x870e taichi lite
Kingston fury 6000 ram
Crucial t705
Asus 4080super
Thermaltake gf3

I have tried resetting power and cmos. Same result, blinking white light. I was thinking to flash bios but I'm not sure if this issue interferes. I believe my pc auto updated to the latest windows update last night. I've never had an issue with my mobo until now. Could surely use some help. Thanks

X870e Taichi Lite should have Dr. Debug (2-digit LED on the motherboard).
Manual lists debug code indicating at what boot process it is at.
If it never even gets to that, I'd say the power supply is sus.

Disconnect the cables from the PSU and reconnect them, and if you can to other free connectors... the better.
I also had a complete PC shutdown, with a Seasonic TX1000 Titanium, and I disconnected and reconnected the cables as the manufacturer told me.
It may also be that you have damaged some sensors called PPT that have the sources, which make them turn off when they have a lot of load, and being damaged jumps before normal, and shuts down as a precaution.

Oh, you have a 9800X3D. Maybe you're affected by this:
https://www.asrock.com/news/index.asp?iD=5604

If so, use flash-back to flash your BIOS to one of these latest beta and try again.

If it works, do let us know if the FCLK/UCLK defaulted to slower speeds, like mine did. I forced them back to 2GHz and 1:1 and haven't had a problem.

I have the exact same issue, no post codes, only power and reset lights turn on.
Already tried flashing both to latest version (3.25) and old one (3.10) with no luck on both occasions.
How should I proceed?

Just a tip when resetting BIOS. Turn off PSU and disconnect any externally powered USB peripherals like hubs.

Yeah, I have only the psu conected and waited 3 minutes after every flashback, as per requested in the asrock guide for them(https://www.asrock.com/support/QA/FlashbackSOP.pdf).

They should add to that guide that the USB drive has to be formated to MBR, as most windows machines will format to GPT by default.
