Hi there
I've just bought: - Asrock Z70 Extreme 7+mobo - Samsung Pro 950 M2 PCIe - MSI Geforce 980. It will be the fresh build, I'm not planning another graphics card. Can you please advise in what PCI slots I can put the stuff in to achieve the best possible performance? Both from the drive and the graphics card? I'm not very technical when it comes to sharing PCI lanes etc. I think that some PCIe slots are connected dirrectly to CPU and some are not.. Thanks a lot in advance. jotka

You can run the gpu in top slot and the 950 in either of the M2 slots for full speed no problem.

you mean that Geforce should go to the closest to CPU slot ? Can I put a drive in the closest to the CPU port as well ?

I have my Titan XP in top pcie slot with one 950 in slot above gpu and second in bottom slot. No issues
