Topic: x470 Taichi ARGB stopped working with UpdatePosted: 23 Nov 2020 at 8:25am |

Hello!
I have an x470 Taichi with a fan connected to the ARGB header. It has been working for some month, but there was an update to Polychrome, I think initiated by the app shop. Now the LEDs are stuck in static red color and I cannot control them anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled several versions of Polychrome, including the beta ones, but it didn't change anything - there's no control to the ARGB header anymore :( Please help! |

what is it set to in the BIOS?
Did you by chance unplug your LEDs and then plug them back in incorrectly? (Wraith cooler would just stay red when I did that on my wife's rig). Have you tried uninstalling the "app" and then installing anew? Sometimes when you just install over the top, you can have issues with some software. |

Hello!
I tried the different modes in BIOS. They all had no effect on the behaviour when running Windows. Only enabling the static mode in BIOS will make the LEDs light in the set color. I uninstalled Polychrome and the other Asrock tools multiple times now, and also installed beta versions, but it wouldn't change anymore :( The LEDs are permanently red now, as i had set in BIOS when trying the static mode, but no software on Windows has an effect anymore. |

And another note (why can't we edit Posts here?):
The connectes fans are just case fans. The AMD fan is connected through an onboard USB header and working fine. |
