Hello!
The mouse stops working in the BIOS after I click "Save Changes and Exit" When I enter the BIOS, my keyboard and mouse work fine. However, after I click "Save Changes and Exit" (without changing any settings), the system reboots. If I then press F2 or Delete to enter the BIOS again, it opens, but the mouse no longer works - only the keyboard does. If I fully turn off the PC by pressing the POWER button on the case, then turn it back on and enter the BIOS, the mouse works again. Sometimes, but only sometimes it happens that mouse still works after I click "Save Changes and Exit" and reboot to BIOS. But usually it's not. Troubleshooting I have tried: I tested every single USB port on my PC (back of the motherboard and top of the case). The mouse stops working in all of them after the "Save Changes and Exit" reboot. I specifically tested the USB 2.0 port on the back of the motherboard, and it has the same behavior. Legacy USB is enabled by default. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version. I have cleared the CMOS (complete BIOS reset). What could be causing this bug, and how can I fix it? Does anybody else have the same issue on an ASRock motherboard? Here is a video showing exactly what is happening in the BIOS: YouTube: https://youtu.be/nBxc_l50YbM System Specs: Motherboard: ASRock Z790 PG Lightning CPU: i5-14600K RAM: Kingston DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000Mhz FURY Beast Black SSD: Samsung 990 EVO Plus V-NAND TLC 1TB M.2 |
