Hi. I purchased a Phantom Vega 64 for my Mac Pro 5,1 running 10.14.2 and the fans run high even when the computer and GPU are idle.

Is the ASRock Vega 64 compatible? Do I need to update the BIOS or macOS?

forgot to mention, the card runs fine in Windows 10 using the ASRock drivers from the website.

AMD doesn't have the Phantom Gaming X Radeon RX VEGA 64 driver for MAC OS use.

Hi. thanks for the reply. I was told the drivers are embedded in macOS. Is that not correct?

Thank you for your reply.

ASRock officially only supports Win10/7.
We cannot guarantee the Vega 64 graphics card can work properly on the MacOS.
As a result, we strongly recommend you to use with Windows 10/7.
