Memory in question is Corsair 32GB (2 x 16GB)Vengeance LPX, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16, 1.35V CMK32GX4M2B3200C16. It doesn't seem to be on the QVL list, but I'd love to get this running at least on 3000MHz.

CPU is i7-8700k, no overclocking.

I can run these at 2667MHz but any higher and PC won't boot. Thankfully it resets the changes and let's me back into BIOS which is nice.

I've tried raising VCCIO and VCCSA and DRAM voltage a bit but it didn't work.

BIOS is updated to the latest 4.30 version.

XMP profile which sets 3200MHz doesn't work, won't boot with it. I've read XMP profiles can be pretty broken with this board, using wrong timings and voltages, any truth to that?

So, any ideas what to try? Manually set timings? I haven't tried that yet, the UEFI for Z370 Pro4 is so confusing and seems like nobody used this board, can't find any guides for it. Only official manual.

I'm absolutely beginner for this kind of stuff, I'm getting pretty desperate at this point, any help is appreciated.

Dear Noob3000,

Thanks for posting!

Let's see, when two memory modules are installed, it is recommended to install the A2 and B2 slots.

If the problem remains, kindly try the following to troubleshoot.
1. Install only one RAM to the B2 slot and XMP to 3200MHz.
2. Try the same with the 2nd RAM on the B2 slot.

If both of the RAM work at 3200MHz on the B2 slot and also on the A2 slot, if possible, please try with a different CPU to see if it will work.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD
