Hi,
I notice that the CPU temperature reported by BIOS is about 10 - 12C higher than what Windows tools like Ryzen Master report. When Ryzen Master shows CPU at idle 41C in Windows then when I boot to BIOS in just a minute, there it's 52C. I have dual boot Windows with Linux Mint. Linux tool psensor also shows CPU idle around 42C ASRock B550M PRo4 BIOS 1.9 (latest) Agesa 1.2.0.2 Ryzen 3500X CPU. I wonder why Is the CPU running at full 3.6Ghz when in BIOS Or does it even idle in BIOS Any advice shall be great. Thank you. |

Dear User81,
Thank you for the posting. Due to there's no programs/drivers to allocate the CPU resource under BIOS environment, the CPU will work with basic frequency under BIOS setup. This explained why the CPU temp in BIOS setup will higher than OS environment. Please don't worry about it. Thank you, Best wishes, ASRock TSD |
