I bought the WD_BLACK SN750 SE
Specs: CPU: Intel i9 9900k GPU: RTX AORUS 3070 Installed it in the M2_2 port (the bottom one). I have a Samsung Evo 970 NVME as my boot drive in m2_1. It doesn't come up in BIOS or Windows. I tried swapping m2 ports and nothing. (PC still boots btw) I do have two regular 2.5 SSD's installed (Samsung Evo 860) that are plugged into ports SATA3_A1 and SATA3_A2 In the manual it says m2_1 will disable SATA3_0 & SATA3_1 and m2_2 will disable SATA3_4 & SATA3_5. So none of those are being used. I can provide details on any other bios settings or windows settings. I have a feeling this is something maybe in BIOS, but I don't know where exactly. Thanks! |

I think your issue is, compatibility with the M.2 controller.
I have seen this before, that an M.2 is not recognized When conencting to another board it works, would mean a defective motherboard. But when using a different M,.2 on the defective board, it works, meaning the M,2 was defective. Sometimes a newer BIOS version can tackle this, or you must flash, the M.2 firmware. |
