Hello,
2 months ago I have started getting random BSOD errors, sometimes PC just freezes (mouse, keyboard, screen) and I have to hard restart it. It's happening mainly while PC is under heavy load - 3D rendering (I'm rendering aklmost every day) Cinebenech, Passmark, etc.. Weird is that PC can be stable for couple of days, than it crashes few times in row a than is stable again for a few days. This PC is my workstation and I need to rely 100% on it. Windows, drivers, BIOS are up to date. No OC. BIOS on default values. I've got mainly these BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA Minidumps blame ntoskrnl. I've tried to: - Windows fresh install > didn't help - reseat memory sticks > didn't help - run pc with just 1 RAM stick > didn't help - run pc with 2 RAM sticks > didn't help - reaplced RAM with new ones > didn't help - run Driver Verifier > didn't help - turn off SMT in BIOS > PC seems to be stable then but CPU performance in rendering is lost - run Cinebench: sometimes the test passes, sometimes I get BSOD (mainly ntoskrnl) - run Prime95: sometimes it can run for hour or two without problem but sometimes it freezes PC after a few seconds. - run MemTest86: I've got 2 errors when running test with 4 RAM modules installed but no errors when testing RAM in dual channel or individually. Weird is that system in unstable even with these modules which have passed MemTest. Maybe it could be faulty motheborad or cpu but I'd like to try everything before sending PC back to warranty. System specs: AMD 3970x Asrock TRX40 Creator 4x32GB Corsair Vegeance XMP 3200 Samsung 970 evo m2 PSU Evga 1600 G2 Win10Pro 21H1 I'll be grateful for any help Roman |
