Hello everyone!
I am desperate and I don't know what to do anymore. I have the following equipment: Motherboard: ASROCK Z590 Extreme AF: 900W Graphics 1: RTX 3060TI Graphics 2: RTX 2080ti Processor: Intel i5 with integrated graphics The question is the following, I have tried to install HiveOS and Windows (currently is the one I'm using) the issue is: after searching and searching, neither HiveOS nor Windows detects any of the graphics cards. I have tried everything, directly to the board, with riser, I have tried all the risers, I have tried everything. I don't know what else I can do, it only recognises the UHD GRAPHICS 630 of the processor. I have connected the cards directly (one at a time) to the board and there is no way. Please, I need help, I don't know where else to go. By the way, the graphics work, I had them on another computer without problems. When I updated the computer, they do not work. |

Hi Mineritos,
Thank you for your post. In general, when the GPU has been installed on the motherboard. It should automatically be detected. Please try to install your GPU directly to the PCIE x16 slot and test them one by one. Also, make sure the video cable is connected to GPU. After entering OS, please try to install the latest NVIDIA driver. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us If the problem is still, please contact your MB distributor or dealer for further assistance. All the best, ASRock TSD |

The thing is, I've already connected the graphics in the PCIe port, I've updated the BIOS to the latest version (1.90), I've connected those cards in another PC and it works.
In the BIOS, I don't have Primary VGA graphics, I only have Onboard or AUTO, and none of them detects the external graphics card. The cables are connected correctly. |

Have you tried reseating your CPU?
Have you tried installing a single GPU in the lowest PCIe slot? The CPU contains the PCIe lanes used by the system, if it isn't making proper contact with the socket pins it can cause the PCIe lanes to the top x16 slot to not function. Installing a GPU in the lowest slot (typically this gets it's PCIe lanes from the PCH) should work if the board is posting. Alternatively either the CPU or the board has issues with the PCIe lane handling, a damaged CPU with dead PCIe lanes or damaged traces or socket pins on the board. I would remove the CPU and examine both the underside of the CPU and the pins in the socket carefully. |
