I recently bought a SK Hynix Platinum P41 and i installed it onto my mother board and found the drive in windows but it is not showing up in my bios. i want to set it up as my boot drive but only my SATA SSD shows in the boot options. i see the nvme in my drive list in bios but not as a boot drive option. Any help would be awesome!

Setting up a boot device, is determined by the boot manager from your OS, Windows literally calls it Windows boot manager.
When you want to have the M.2 as boot device, there are 2 options. 1. clone the SSD to the M,2, and after successful, wipe the SSD 2. do a clean installation of Windows, but first wipe all partitions from the SSD, and the M.2 Once that is done, disconnect the SSD, and do a clean install of the OS, this way, bootmanager and all partitionsm are stored, on the same device When booting, press f11 for the bootmenu, your USB device, is maybe twice in the list, and you must use the UEFI device, then your S will be instaleld in UEFI (GPT) Mode |
