Hello all,
I just purchased a Sapphire 11260-02-20G AMD RX 480 Nitro+ 4 GB GDDR5 graphics card, I fitted it to my ASRock 970 Extreme4 motherboard and when fired up it failed to boot, I swapped the card between both PCI-E slots but it would not get passed the BIOS code 97 (which points to PCI-E hardware issue). The bios is now updated to the latest version (2015) and it is still not working, plugged my old card in and the PC boots successfully - any ideas?

Thanks.

A friend has just tried it in his machine and it works, looks like this board doesn't support it?

Assuming ASRock are unable to create a bios update to support this card, can anyone suggest an equivalent card to the RX480 that is supported by this board?
