Hello

Trying to Port forward to my NAS but for the life of me I can't get it to work.

These are my settings.
192.168.1.2 is set to manual DHCP. (MAC tied to IP)

I can reach my site with the local adress 192.168.1.2:2708 but it will not work using my public IP. (ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED)
Omitting the port and just entering my public IP loads the router page as expected.

What am I doing wrong?
(Loaded the latest firmware in beta, did nothing)

Regards,
H

<your public IP>:2708

Natch that. If I read a little closer ............

IIRC, you need a Dynamic DNS Provider to do it locally. ie: haginator.no-ip.net

Have a friend try <public ip>:2708  This should work outside your internal network coming In

Also, turn off/disable the routers Remote Management page in the routers GUI and you may, may, get get to the NAS box locally.

Post back your results please.

I do have an dyndns account and have it setup in DDNS on the G10

I turned of, I think, remote control but that didn't do much either way.

I'll try offsite surfing to the NAS later today.

If you'd like some out of local network aid, PM me the details

If you still get the login screen of the router, you haven't disabled the routers Remote Management. That's a good sign though that you have everything else set right as it is in fact directing you to the router log in. Disable the Remote Management option/feature and it should be good
