Hi,
I have 2x gtx580s and i7 processor, just upgraded to windows ten (BIG MISTAKE!)

I keep getting a blue screen of death error saying DXGKRNL.SYS has screwed up,
After talking to NVidia tech support they came back to me saying the motherboard is not compatible with windows 10?

are yyou going to release a bios or update to correct this or have I got to find a new board to host my i7 and 2 gtx 580s?

any advice or help would be great.. I have posted some specs below

DXGKRNL.SYS is a Windows file, which I believe is the DirectX driver in Windows. If you search the Internet on that file, you'll find BSOD problems related to it exist with all versions of Windows back to Vista and Win 7.

When do you get the BSOD, while gaming or randomly, etc?

Did you do a Win 10 upgrade installation, or a fresh installation? If an upgrade, what version were you using previously?

Window 10 problems and the finger pointing about whom is to blame is rampant now, as is usual every time a new version of Windows is released. The difficult (if not impossible) part is determining what is causing the problem. Claiming the problem is caused by a single, specific thing is common, but is that always true?

Saying that a mother board is not compatible with Win 10 is such an over generalization, we have ASRock board users with older boards than Z77 that use Win 10 fine. If a BIOS update could fix it, how then is a board not compatible? A little critical thinking reveals the flaws in claims like these.

Problems with SLI and Win 10 can be found all over the Internet, and fixes for that are being released all the time.

Speaking of which, Nvidia has a new Win 10 driver for their 500 series video cards, dated 8/31/15. Are you using this driver now?

Win 10 applies updates automatically now, whether you want them or not. A video driver may have been installed by Windows Update that is not working well.
