" rel="nofollow - I am using an ASRock B450 Pro4 Board and attached a Master/slave power supply which triggers power off to the slave devices (monitor, ...) via an usb connection to the mainboard.

When I power down the system the usb ports are still supplied with power, so the slave devices connected to the power supply won't shut down.

I already tried "deep sleep" and enabling/disabling C6 power state but the usb ports were still on when shutting down windows.
Can somebody advise me what settings to use in UEFI to disable power to the usb ports wehen powering down the system?

Hi,

I have the same board and enabling deep sleep works for me (Advanced > South Bridge Configuration > Deep Sleep > ENABLE).

However, make sure you are using the USB 2.0 ports (top black ones near the PS2 connector), deep sleep probably doesn't work on USB 3.1 ports.

Bios> Deep Sleep> Enable
Windows> gpedit.msc
Directiva equipo local>
configuración del equipo>
plantillas administrativas>
Sistema:
En la ventana de la derecha buscar:

"No apague la energía del sistema después que se apague windows"

(Doble click)

Elegir "deshabilitar"
Aplicar, ok, cerrar gpedit.msc y reiniciar la pc.
Espero q t ayude

Ancient post, I know. Just worked through this issue myself:

1) Disable Fast Startup in Windows10
--- Control Panel
--- Power Options
--- Choose what the Power Buttons Do -- aka System Settings
--- Change Settings that are currently unavailable
--- Uncheck "Turn on fast startup"

2) UEFI BIOS Settings
--- F2 on Boot
--- Advanced
--- ACPI Configuration
--- Deep Sleep: Enabled in S4 & S5
