" rel="nofollow - My PC uses Intel SRT for caching the system disk to a SSD, and works great up to BIOS 1.80.

I've tried version 3.10, 3.20, and 3.30 and none of these will recognise the system drive.  I've tried toggling the mode between RAID and AHCI, and while it will detect the disk in AHCI it obviously fails to boot, but in RAID mode it simply will not accept this as a boot option.

Has anyone else encountered this, or found a work around?  Do we have a pre-boot driver that can be loaded to override the "upgraded" one in the latest BIOS?  Shelling out more money for an Optane drive just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense  for a tiny bump in speed at the expense of a much smaller cache.
