I have a Z370 Extreme 4 Motherboard and I'm in the process of trying to add an Intel Dual Band AC 8265 Wireless adapter to the M.2 Key E slot located at the top of the board under the plastic shield for the I/O. Problem is there were no screws sent with the adapter and when I looked in my screws box from when I did the build there are no screws small enough to fit into the gold standoff at the M.2 slot. The motherboard box says 3x M.2 screws (optional) so I guess I didn't receive any.

I need to know the exact size and thread type ie Metric or Imperial and do the screws go straight into the round gold standoff as I've tried to screw a number of leftover screws I have and none will fit as the hole is so small. I've seen posts on other sites that say the screws are 2 mm but the hole in the standoff at the M.2 slot is smaller than 2 mm.
