Hello Everyone,
few weeks ago I received my Z370 Extreme4 with an i7-8700k. Yesterday my new chassis (corsair RGB460x) arrived as well.
Now I wanted to setup my fans and i really dont know how to.
I connected all as they should be on the MB. When I open BIOS I can adjust different Temperatures/Powers for each fan. But on fan 3 I can choose between "PWM" or "DC" mode.Picture
I have 3-core-fans. So, if I choose PWM its much more louder than with DC. What exactly shall i choose? Which settings i should use? My actual Hardware is CLICK
Can u tell me which settings i should use?
It would be really nice of you!
Thanks in advance.

"PWM" oder "DC" depends on your fan: - PWM-fans are using a 4-pin connector (V+, V-, Tacho and PWM). The PWM pin sets the speed of the fan with a dedicated digital signal. - 3-pin fans do not have the PWM pin. Their speed is set by voltage between ca. 7V and 12V. That's why a 3-pin fan runs at full speed if set to "PWM" (no PWM connector). On the other hand can a 4-pin fan be controlled by PWM OR voltage. In this case you should choose PWM. Some BIOSes have an "AUTO" function, that means, they detect PWM or DC automatically.
