hello,

i have a problem with the CHA Fan 3.
I use a PWM Fan, and the control in Bios works great. But in Windows, the FAN regulates too fast. When I open a new task in Chrome the Fan goes up dand down,
or starting a game, its alway been on 2000RPM. I think the Temp Sensor working not right. I set to CPU Temp, MB Temp, nothing help.

In Bios, i set the Fan to a maximum of 10%, but in Windows it is still too fast.

I have the latest bios (1.50) Fan ist a NB e-Loop PWM

sorry for my english,
I hope you can understand me.

greeting

Thanks for the info bukowa, it looks like some kind of bug with the fan controller
on that board. It may be worth opening a support ticket with ASRock and asking
them directly:
http://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp

I haven't seen this issue reported here in large numbers so it could just be a
batch of boards that had a defective controller.

Let us know what reply you get from ASRock, good luck
