Is it possible to achieve DDR4-2933 on Taichi X470 (ryzen 5 2600x) with G.Skill F4-3200C14-8GTZRX ?
CPU-Z shows 1066 Mhz on auto settings.
Please help

Did you enable XMP in BIOS? Did you update to the latest BIOS?

It should be fairly easy to achieve even 3200MT/s with this RAM.

Also, read the manual for which RAM slots to use depending on your configuration and capacity.

1st - how many memory sticks do you have?

According to https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/62vp2g/clearing_up_any_samsung_bdie_confusion_eg_on/ you may have non B-die chips.

Non Samsung B-die chips are hard even for Gen.2 Ryzens (Zen+) CPU, which is yours. Check with Taiphoon as described in the link above.

Sole fact that XMP won't kick in means you most likely don't have Samsung chips in your memory. If you have just 2 sticks of RAM and XMP won't kick in, you'd most likely have to OC by hand.

You may also want to try https://www.jzelectronic.de/jz2/index.php for BIOS 1.62, or wait for the new AGESA from AMD.

Double check that xmp is enabled and 3200 is selected, those sticks should hit 3200 easily and maybe higher. Can you post the cpu-z memory tab screenshot?

those are not tuned for AMD systems you'll need to use RDC settings its just a matter of changing a few values
