Hi Folks,
I'm unable to install Windows on my new setup. The System freezes during install of Windows 10 from USB.
My Setup:
X470 Taichi Ultimate (stock BIOS 1.2) Ryzen 7 2700x G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 2x 8GB (F4-3200c14D-16GTZRX) Samsung 970pro M.2 Seasonic Prime Platinum 850W
What i did/tried
1. setup the system only with CPU, RAM & Power => POST fine 2. added Samsung M.2 SSD & NV 1080TI FE 3. updated BIOS to latest 1.6 4. setup Win10 with MediaCreationTool on USB-Stick 5. Windows setup freezed at copying files to Disk at 86% 6. new try with same USB-Stick => Setup freezed again at screen where region of System is selected 7. took another USB-Stick and created a new Media => freeze at screen "one moment please" 8. removed Samsung M.2 and put in the old 850Pro with latest WIN10 and 840 (from old PC I7 2600k) System booted into Windows => freezed when copying files from 850 to 840, tryed 5 or 6 times always freeze 9. deleted old 850Pro and tried Win10 Setup on it => freeze after copying files & reboot 10. tried different RAM-Settings in UEFI, XMP yes/no, frequency between 2133 and 3200 => freeze 11. disabled XFR in Advanced Settings => freeze 12. downgraded BIOS to 1.50 => freeze 13. tried again with different RAM-Settings, XFR yes/no 14. flashed BIOS 1.62 from JZ => freeze 15. removed EVERYTHING (took the CPU from the socket, cleaned it) and build up again only with CPU, cooler, RAM, GPU and M.2 970 pro and 850 pro => freeze
in about 10 hours i'm able to test some other hardware (Ryzen 1800x, TridentZ RGB (nonAMD) and a Board i don't know yet.
Maybe somebody has some other suggestions in the meantime.

G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 2x 8GB (F4-3200c14D-16GTZRX) is only correct from BIOS L1.62 (AGESA1004-C) or new version P2.00 (AGESA1006)

- flashed 2.0 from JZ, defaults loaded (1 module in A2), freeze - added 2nd module to B2, selected XMP Profile, disabled XFR, freeze - removed module from A2 and switched module B2 to A2, freeze - loaded memory profile (Corsair in UEFI), freeze
i think it's time to get another piece of ram. thought about some corsair select 2133 or 2400 to test.
ot: in the past i only used corsair memory, and i never thought about having such problems in 2018. in the late 90s THIS was normal, but in 2018 this shouldn't happen!
