Contact Tech Support and let them know you have a bad flash, they will advise you as to what course of action to take.

https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp

This is why we do not recommend windows flashing. Always use instant flash.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, sadly bad flashes require Tech Support to resolve, there is little a user can do to repair it themselves To do so requires specialized tools that most people don't have access to.

I ran into the exact same problem with the same board. Too bad this company didn't include redundancies such as dual bios

Yes it's a shame there is no dual bios or other safety features. I paid 170??for my board.

Also I had to do a CMOS reset TWICE before the new bios was working correctly.

Please read the information below before downloading or updating your BIOS
We don't recommend users to update the BIOS if their system is already running normally. ASRock assumes no responsibility for any damages caused by improper operations of downloading or updating the BIOS. Before you download or update the BIOS, please read " (How to Update)" below CAREFULLY. This taken from ASRock website about updating the BIOS. So if your system is running normally why update the BIOS. Your just taking a chance on messing up something already working.
