Subject: B650I-Lightning Sleep Mode

I have a new build that I have been working on with a B650I Wifi. I am running Windows 11 Pro OS on it. Whenever the PC goes into sleep mode the network interface quits. I have checked just about everything, searched the internet. I can't figure this one out. Updated to the latest BIOS, network drivers and just about anything else. Tried various configurations in the OS enabling and disabling power management.

Any ideas?

you dont even list what wifi card you use.

Im using RZ616 mt7922 mediatek in my dell 7400 laptop. In order for it wake up from sleep correctly i needed to write a systemd service disabling the driver at sleep and reenabling at wake up.

sct cat mt7921e-sleep
# /etc/systemd/system/mt7921e-sleep.service

#/etc/systemd/system/mt7921e-sleep.service
[Unit]
Description=mt7921e sleep
Before=sleep.target
StopWhenUnneeded=yes

[Service]
Type=oneshot
RemainAfterExit=yes
ExecStart=/sbin/modprobe -r mt7921e
ExecStop=/sbin/modprobe mt7921e

[Install]
WantedBy=sleep.target

Thanks for the reply, but this looks like a linux script. I am running Windows 11 on the device. I would think Wake on LAN would be supported by this motherboard.
