Yesterday my PC suddenly froze for a sec or two. My first thought was to check HWiNFO and check my voltages. Voltages were fine but my RAM speed caught my eye. Somehow my RAM was pushed to 4232.5MHz(actual) for a very short time. I'm pretty sure that's what caused my PC to freeze.

I'm posting publicly to see if anyone else has experienced this bug. It hasn't happened again yet, and i'm not sure what caused it. Pretty interesting bug though.

I think it's not the real spike, but wrongly reported value.
Maybe bad BIOS flash. I had bad BIOS flashes before, and then I started disconnecting all the unnecessary peripherals and hardware prior to flashing BIOS, and everything works fine now.

What are the typical effects in your experience of a bad BIOS flash? I appear to get frequent 'freezes' or 'stutters' every time I have flashed, and I have had over 4 AB350M Pro4 boards.

with bad flashes I often had micro freezes, sound stutters, also PC would freeze or blue screen when I disable and then enable network adapters

you probably would want to re-install windows as well, after properly flashing bios, as your previous windows install might be affected by behavior of previous flash
