Unsure if this is a mobo problem or an ssd problem
The main nvme on M2_1 is working fine
The issue is the nvme ssd on M2_2 (crucial t500, gen4).
I'm getting sequential read/write of 6500 MB/s and 6400 MB/s (crystal diskmark 5x1GiB default). Expecting closer to 7400 MB/s and 7000 MB/s advertised speed
Also seeing IOPS read/write of 223k / 175k (crystal diskmark 5x1GiB peak performance). Expecting closer to 1180k / 1440k advertised

IMO this might be normal for drives/slots attached to the chipset,
you can put the drive in the CPU slot and check,

Thanks, thats what I suspected. I may test out that theory in the future. For the most part the speeds are hitting ~80% of advertised which is acceptable for a secondary drive. I was more concerned that the part I got a fake T500 drive and that could be the cause (in which case I'd return). Crucial confirmed that their registration wasn't working and that the part number I gave them is legit (but without inspecting the hardware could not confirm more).
