I?™ve been running bios 1.30 on my K6 since I got it. However I?™ve had some problems with stuttering and such in games that I never had on my last motherboard. I?™ve tried every fix I could find but nothing works.

So my last option is probably to update my bios. But I?™m a bit reluctant to do so as my last motherboard (Asus prime Z370-p)went from a stable overclock to a really unstable one. Also dropped boot speed and overall performance.

Is it worth the risk? Could it possibly fix my stuttering? And most important of all, can I rollback the bios if it gets worse?

Try it. you can go back if unhappy with the results.
DO NOT FLASH THROUGH WINDOWS, use instant flash and follow the directions.
As far as the stuttering, does it happen with the stock clock and default settings?

Will it also undo the spectre patches if I rollback? Is there something specific I must do to downgrade or am I supposed to just do the same thing when updating but with the 1.30 bios instead?

Yes stuttering is there with everything stock as well.
