I can't get the Realtek Audio Control app to work on my new build. I've uninstalled, reinstalled the 8503 driver directly off the drivers download for this MB. I also tried 8591 driver that wasn't directly from the Taichi x370 downloads (another site). I try to install the app from the FAQ link on the MB support site, and gives error Code: 0x803FB005 upon install attempt from Windows Store. I installed from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9P2B8MCSVPLN. BIOS is 5.1, which is the latest. This appears to be the only app that will allow you to configure the Realtek Audio device. Any thoughts?

Are you having the same issue on your x470? AS Rock Tech Support is completely useless, and would love to solve this problem. I wish they would have stayed with the desktop app instead of an app that's supposed to auto download through Windows 10. There is no way to configure my speaker setup and tune to my room. Unfortunate.

Guys, no motherboard manufacturer can control what a 3rd party chip provider decides to do with their drivers/software. The move to a windows 10 download comes from Microsoft and Realtek. I don't know what prompted Realtek to go this route and, for the record, I really don't like it either. I much prefer the old dated looking Realtek control app. If you want to see this change, Realtek is the one we should be complaining to.
