Hi guys,
It's almost twenty years since I built my last desktop PC. I fed up with laptops and decided to go back to stationary. I'd like use it for gaming, video editing and work. Has anyone experience any hardware issues with similar configuration?
After posting it on couple of forums everyone warned me that I shouldn't go with ASRock Motherboards due to issues with burning AMD Processors. ASRock selling boards dedicated for AM5. What if I decide to go with such configuration and it will happen? I don't want to take a risk and loose money so I do consider to change motherboard supplier.
What are your thoughts?

Hi!
I am on a similar configuration, which I've built in 2024:
1. Motherboard: ASRock X670E Taichi. 2. CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X. 3. Memory: Kingston Fury Beast 2x32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36. 4. PSU: Corsair HX1200i (1200W). 5. CPU Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm. 6. Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2 RGB. 7. Video Card: Gigabyte RTX 3080 Vision OC. 8. Storage: 3x Samsung 970 Pro 1TB in RAID_0.
<My experience>:
Everything runs perfectly. I'm even using the PBO feature to undervolt & overclock the CPU by 200MHz (5.9GHz). I've only lowered the DRAM speed at DDR5-5800, leaving the timings as they were set by the EXPO profile.
I've tested my system, extensively, with MemTest86 and many benchmarking tools. The system is rock-solid!
I hope this helps...
