Hi.

I'm not sure what happened, but today I did a full factory reset of my motherboard (X299 Professional Gaming XE).
I restored the settings as I had written them down (I can't save the BIOS settings on disk and or internal since updated BIOS to v1.60).

I've lowered the temperature limit to 95C from Auto.

Now when I run Prime95 (first test), the motherboard buzzer immediately goes off even though the CPU temperature stays below 93C.

I run a EKWB custom loop with 2x360mm radiators. 93C is exactly where I'm comfortable running that particular Prime95 test.

That buzzer when the temperature comes close to the limit is a new thing, never seen/heard that before, and I have no idea which BIOS settings control that.

Help?
Thanks
JY

Well, the issue disappeared as quickly as it came after I turned off the PC at the powerpoint.

Very weird.
