I have a new computer with the Phantom Gaming 4-IB mobo. I wanted to update the bios as the version is currently L0.01 There are bios updates for the phantom gaming 4. I tried updating 1.10, 1.20, 1.30 on a 1GB FAT32 formatted usb drive on USB2 port. In every case the instant flash utility says 'file not detected'. Is the Phantom Gaming 4 and the Phantom Gaming 4-IB the same model? Or does the 4-IB require different BIOS updates? Any help would be appreciated! |

I have the same ? I cant flash the bios at all it does not recognize none of the Phantom Gaming 4 files ------------- i9 9900k,Zotac 2080ti amp extreme,650watt psu,Phantom Gaming 4-IB |

I was able to successfully update the Realtek audio driver, INF driver, and Intel Management Engine driver from the Download section. But still have had no success with the bios. Is there anyone knowledgeable about the 4-IB that can help us? |

I just called ibuypower the tech stated it is a custom bios. You can not flash the bios at all with the bios files on asrocks site.Most likely the files will be on ibuypowers site if they ever need to update the bios. Thats why you see the ibuypower logo at startup and not the asrock logo. I will be getting a new board soon!!  ------------- i9 9900k,Zotac 2080ti amp extreme,650watt psu,Phantom Gaming 4-IB |

Thanks very much for posting that info. I think that I might leave a comment on Costco's site warning people not to purchase unless they are the type to never upgrade. Thanks again! |
