I have a B450M Pro4 with the 1.6 bios. There is v2 bios on the website (since Dec). The network flash from within the bios gui says there is no update available. I don't want to use a USB flash drive just for this so has anyone used the network flash? Does anyone know why it might think there is nothing new?

Just a few things here: - it's actually the safest way to flash BIOS from USB - changelogs for these BIOS are really generic and often there are many other things that have been fixed - always clear CMOS before and after a BIOS flash; remember to reboot after each clearing

I've noticed that ASRock's built-in firmware update tool is very unreliable and rarely connects to find updates, it occasionally works for me but I have to use the usb update process at least 90% of the time unfortunately.

I upgraded the BIOS via USB. The Network Flash option is gone.

Yes, they know how bad it was, so they removed it.
