can you use pbo with a non x ryzen cpu such as the ryzen 5 2600
I have the x470 taichi mobo really seem to like it but i cant find any info one pbo thanks

Yes, you can. As long as you are using Zen+ and 2nd gen AM4 chipsets.

I cant seem to find the setting in my bios ive looked all over for it can you tell me where its at or maybe i'm just doing something wrong i dont know

I'm not familiar with the BIOS layout for your particular mobo. You can try consulting the manual or wait for someone here to reply. Another option is Reddit.

I'd suggest you update BIOS and clear CMOS for a good measure nonetheless.

ya i've tried all that already thanks for the reply though. I've done just about everything i can think of to get the option to show it's self. i kinda think asrock has taken the option away from us if you have a non x cpu.

If anyone else here has had any success getting this to work please let me know how you did it.

Take it from me, ASRock's BIOS are one of the buggiest there are.

I wouldn't be surprised if they removed PB involuntary or straight on purpose.
