Can you please explain me why there is difference between sensors CPU Tctl (95 degrees) and CPU motherboard (68 degrees)? Which one is correct?

| I have a 2700x with the same motherboard and go with what Ryzen Master's temperature. You may have to go with bios and Ryzen Master's temperatures since other software seems to show some other temperatures that may not be right or irrelevant. It looks like your computer is going to burn out. :( |

Ryzen Master always shows actual CPU temp. HWinfo appears to be reading/labeling your sensors wrong (this is common with 3rd party monitoring apps). My guess is that it is reading the actual CPU temp as Tctrl then applying a negative offset to that for the CPU temp, the actual Tctrl sensor should be showing 95c + 20c in your case. In other words, get a better cooler on that CPU if this is a normal workload. If this is something like Prime 95 then you should be OK but keep in mind that your cooler is not up to any kind of overclocking. Do not run Prime 95 or any other stress testing on that cooler for long periods, it will shorten the lifespan of the CPU running that hot. You may also want to check your thermal compound application, if you don't have enough compound or the cooler is not mounted correctly that would also cause higher than ideal temps. If you replace the compound be sure to remove the previous compound thoroughly and clean the surfaces with isopropyl alcohol/equivalent. -------------
