Updating Microsoft Secure Boot keys till Oktober 2026. Microsoft has stated that they will approach all partners to issue the new key certificates. However, motherboard manufacturers will have to add some of them via BIOS updates. My question is: Will ASRock provide BIOS updates for all of its boards until October 2026, regardless of their age? For example, I have a Z390 Extreme 4 motherboard running the latest BIOS (beta BIOS 4.30F). Will there be a final BIOS update for my Z390 Extreme 4 with the new Secure Boot certificate keys?
I hope for a quick (timely) answer.
Best regards

I'm afraid that isn't something I have the answer to. You can try opening a support ticket with ASRock and inquire with them directly: https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp" rel="nofollow - https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp

Thank you for the fast answer and help. I will open a Support ticket. But maybe you can take a note to the Forum owners/ Administrators too? This is something all Customers of ASRock will and have to know about.

Thanks, I agree that it's an important matter. While I don't speak for ASRock as I am only a community moderator, I do get fairly frequent updates from ASRock about key issues.
I typically get an email with a request to make an announcement with things like this but only when ASRock has an official stance/statement ready. Through support tickets you can often get early access to beta BIOS versions etc as ASRock's tech support staff often go above and beyond to help users with issues.

Well i got a answer of the Support. Maybe it will help you too if the same question will come in the future like from me.
"Hello, the information I have is, that you just need to make sure Windows Update is enabled. Microsoft will update it via windows update. No specific BIOS need.
Kind regards

Thanks, but I can't seem to make edits to it. Seems I wanted to post what I did on a another forum(that told me to head here. I also noticed there's no option to post pictures of what I wanted to point out. Can I post the link to the other forum I posted on?

You can reply in the thread I created for you. Images can be posted with the usual [img][/img tags, I left off the last ] so it would show. You will need to upload images elsewhere however as the forum does not support image uploads. Editing is not permitted on newbie level accounts to prevent spam. Spammers often edit in malicious links some time after making a seemingly legitimate post. Spammers are to blame for pretty much every inconvenience on the forums here.....
Feel free to link to the thread on the other forum in the thread I created for you.

Also, if you made a thread on another forum with images and you are able to edit there you can simply use the edit function there, copy the text including the BBcode and the images you shared there should show up in your thread here too. The only restriction with images here is that this forum lacks an image upload option.
